  • Traditional Access: Reaching into the basket, picking up a chocolate bar, placing it on the table, reaching back in, finding the cheese, and placing it on a plate. You make separate trips for every item.
  • Destructuring: You open the basket and place all key items directly onto their designated counter spots in a single motion: "Chocolates go here, cheese goes there, and the rest stays in the basket" (Rest pattern).

4. How It Works

Object destructuring matches keys from the source object and binds their values to local variables:

1. Basic Destructuring & Renaming:

Extract properties directly, with the option to rename them using a colon key: localName.

Assign fallback values if the property evaluates to undefined inside the source object.
